Where does the weekly average come from?
From the U.S. Energy Information Administration’s weekly survey of retail gasoline prices, published every Monday. This page uses the available survey area as a regional comparison. It is not a separate average for Shreveport.
Why is the price at my Shreveport station different?
Stations set their own prices, and this is an average across many stations for the whole area. Brand, location, cash or card and membership discounts all change the price at the pump.
When do these numbers update?
EIA publishes new averages each Monday afternoon (Tuesday after a Monday holiday). This page checks for the new week twice a day.
